Tara Wong is the Chief Executive Officer of Oakville Public Library. She received her Masters in Library Studies from Dalhousie University and has previously worked at Ottawa Public Library and Regina Public Library. Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tara has been part of the Oakville community for 8+ years. Tara has a deep passion for community building and believes that public libraries are a central connector who enrich the lives and build resilient communities.
