On Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 members of the Oakville community travelled to the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation’s Community Centre for the second annual Treaty Celebration Event, a community to community celebration of arts, culture and cuisine.
The event featured headliner, Joseph Sarenhes, as well as music performances from Oakville and MCFN. Food was provided by Mohawk chef, Tawnya Brant of Top Chef Canada. This event served as an opportunity for members of the Oakville community to thank and acknowledge our allyship with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
