France Fournier is the President & CEO of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. Her career has
travelled many roads from retail banking, catering, marketing, and operations. She is passionate
about people, making a difference and the place she calls home, Oakville.
While France has worked in different fields over the course of her career, something common to
all her work has been her commitment to connecting businesses with the community. From the
beginning, France has seen the value of creating strong relationships between business owners
and community members. She believes businesses have an obligation to improve life in the
communities where they do business and that individuals should support their local business
and get involved.

France believes in the importance of being engaged in the community and has volunteered her
time to the United Way and the Oakville Parent Child Centre. She is currently Vice Chair of
Home Suite Hope, a charity that provides wrap-around services to single parent families.
France has lived in Oakville since 1995. She is a very proud mom to two daughters, Lise-Anne
and Michelle, and a Golden Retriever named Summer
