For Treaty Day on March 4, 2025, members of the Oakville community engaged in a Virtual Q&A with journalists and authors Angela Sterritt and Brandi Morin for a powerful discussion about their fight for justice as the crisis of missing Indigenous women continues to grow.
Members of the Debwewin Oakville Leadership Council participated in a beading workshop led by Katie Chapman where they learned how to craft a red dress, a symbol for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
